What is rake?

The ‘rake’ is the amount a poker site removes from each pot, as a fee, for offering/hosting the poker game. The amount taken from the pot varies by limits, but it is generally anywhere from $1.00-$3.00 on average per hand.

What is rakeback?

When you sign-up with a poker site via AApoker, you will receive a refund for every $1 that you have paid in rake. This refund is called ‘rakeback’. Whatever limits you play, whether you are a pro’ or just play poker for fun, receiving rakeback will greatly increase your win-rate, and allow you to make more money.

What is “Total rake” or “Net revenue”?

Each poker site might have a different term for “Total Rake” or “Net Revenue”, but it’s essentially the total rake that you pay as calculated by the poker site. When AApoker pays your rakeback, it is always a percentage of your Net Revenue.

What are rakeback providers?

Rakeback provider are companies that advertises for a poker site or a group of poker sites. The rakeback provider is paid a percentage of Total Rake for each of their players. AApoker then gives this payment from the poker site, in the form of rakeback, back to you, the player.

How do I get rakeback via AApoker?

The first step is to create a rakeback account with AApoker. This involves absolutely no obligation yet will allow you to fully view our members area. Once you have signed into your newly created account at AApoker, on any page from the left hand side, select the poker site(s) you are interested in receiving rakeback from and follow the quick and easy sign up instructions. Within a matter of minutes you can start playing poker and receiving rakeback!

When are my rakeback statistics updated at AApoker?

Nearly all of your rakeback statistics are updated daily. If a site does not update statistics daily there will be a note of this. There can be delays with the rakeback stats updating sometimes, but these delays are usually not in our control and they are usually not longer than a couple of days.

Can I still get poker room bonuses if I receive rake back?

Of course! You will still be able to receive bonuses offered by the poker site and any other promotions offered by the poker site or AApoker if you receive rakeback from AApoker. Bonuses are deducted from the Total Rake, but it is much better to receive both bonuses and rakeback than either one alone.

When are rakeback payments made to me?

Payments are made once a month, usually during the second week, for the previous month’s rakeback that is currently due to you. For example, if you had accumulated $400 in rake back during December, this would be paid to you in January. Though we strive to make your rake back payment to you by the 15th of the month, some poker rooms automatically make the rake back payments to your poker site account. There are times when the rake back payment will be made later than the 15th due to the sites poker rakeback payment schedule.

Note: You must have a rake back balance of $20 or greater from the previous month in order for you to receive your rake back payment. If you are owed less than $20, it will be carried over into the following month and will be paid to you once your total amounts to $20.
